Value Proposition & Content Marketing Strategy

Kings Gate Capital Partners is a boutique third-party distributor for fund managers looking to tap lucrative APAC region. To power its continued growth and success the Managing Partners, Peter Mitchell and Sean Scallan knew it was important to communicate their compelling value proposition clearly and consistently to the market.  


The brief

Kings Gate Capital Partners engaged me to:

1. build a compelling value proposition. 

2. apply it across all collateral and communications.

3. develop a content marketing strategy to take the value proposition to market.  


Key inputs

1. Client and stakeholder research and analysis: to ensure the value proposition was grounded in client needs, challenges, likes, dislikes etc., I conducted a workshop with the Managing Partners to produce a client analysis for:

   a. fund manager partners.

   b. asset allocators and influencers of capital (specifically institutions, private wealth firms, family offices and asset consultants) 

2. Value proposition research: though a structured workshop I developed a deep understanding of how Pete and Sean go about winning and delivering to clients, which along with the client analysis formed the basis of value proposition recommendations.

Updated website and collateral

Including an updated pitchbook and credential documents to nurture leads and close business.  

Content marketing strategy

A comprehensive and researched strategy including:

• Recommended channels and tactics to be used.

• Types of contents that will get cut -through and support their value proposition.

• A 12-month content calendar, including article examples.
